Oil paint on Panel. 9x12in.
A look into a hazy high tide day at woods cove where the lifeguards refuse to let anyone explore the intertidal zone. Woods Cove is a beach I used to go to a lot when I was in elementary and middle school. Back in the day (im only in my early 20s) this beach was not as popular with tourists and was fun to go cliff jumping, body surfing, and checking out the intertidal zones. The sign is a pivotal reminder of my childhood spent running up the rocks to jump into the water before the lifeguard could tell us not to.
